This wiki page will act as a central hub for new editors and as a hub for documenting how to do things with DokuWiki's weird syntax. You can read more about said syntax at here
Although Glowers Club is a sacred place that only fine gentlemen can enter and lurk in, the wiki is entirely public and will most likely be accessible through search engines such as DuckDuckGo or Google. Any information you wouldn't share on Wikipedia, you shouldn't share here.
Interwiki Links are link generators that can link to other websites, wikis or services such as skype, #matrixhq:matrix.org, wiki users, RFC1459, EncyclopediaDramatica and Wikipedia.
An interwiki link can be created by using the following format along with a supported service:
[[[service>resource]]
Example:
[[matrix>#matrixhq:matrix.org]]
Renders as:
#matrixhq:matrix.org
The current best practices for article structure are in best_practices and should be used as a template for new non-draft articles. Not following the best practices can lead to the article not looking right, it's suggested you at least skim through it once
Greentexting and Fagtexting can be put in articles by using the following syntax used in jannies.
%%>%%he does it for free\\ %%<%%reddit
This renders as:
>he does it for free
<reddit
DokuWiki provides no syntax to embed YouTube videos aside from using the <html>
tag, thankfully this is quite easy to do. This is also used in jannies
